Chris & Kate got married on a beautiful June day at 5th Quarter Wedding Venue in Somerset, Kentucky! I have been looking forward to this wedding day. Last year I met Chris & Kate on a rooftop in Asheville, North Carolina after Chris reached out planning to propose to Kate (you can see a little from that day here!). Little did I know, how incredible the day would be, and then turn into getting to photograph them through so many season of life!
Then their big day arrived and it was surreal to walk into the doors of 5th quarter and see Kate as a bride. The day was a beautiful blur. Complete with the most intimate ceremony, with their closest friends and family. The weather was perfect, and made the day that much better!
Chris & Kate chose the most beautiful summer color palette with greens & pops of color in the most incredible florals. This evoked such elegance that looked perfectly intentional yet totally effortless. The organic floral design was one of the highlights of the day, featuring lots of lush greenery. Altogether, the details were visually captivating. But none as much as Kates glam bridal look, which featured the most stunning gown.
Chris & Kate decided to do a first look, and hands down this was the most special first look I have ever been a part of. Chris first did a first look with their daughter Avery, followed by Avery & Chris seeing Kate for the first time together. It was one of the sweetest moments… second to Chris promising Avery to love Kate during their ceremony. Cue, all of the tears from everyone there. The day was so sweet, and I am so excited to share it with you!
It was so great being a part of this 5th Quarter Wedding & work along side such great vendors!
