May 29th was one for the books with Grant & Katie’s Vesuvius Vineyard Wedding. Its safe to say that that I have never seen two people more excited to get married. Katie is a Teacher & has the most gorgeous smile. Grant an awesome Charlotte realtor & is so funny with the best laugh to go along with it. Grant & Katie met at the best place in the world. Appalachian State. Grant took Katie on their first date to Moses Cone one of the most beautiful places on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Followed by taking her to so many of the best Local Boone spots like Local Lion, & Coyote Kitchen. Neither one of them wanted the date to be over. I first met them at their engagement session In Davidson & knew their wedding day was going to be so much fun!

Their big day arrived and it was surreal to walk into the doors of the Vesuvius Vineyard & see Katie as a bride. Little did I know she was surrounded by a tribe of incredible woman that I have know since I was a kid! The day was a beautiful blur. Complete with the most gorgeous of bridesmaids, and the best emotions. We dodged the summer showers off & on, but as soon as the ceremony started the sun came out & made for the most stunning evening!

Grant & Katie chose the most beautiful color palette with a pretty blues. This  gave such a stunning look, that looked perfectly intentional yet totally effortless. The organic floral design was one of the highlights of the day, featuring lots of wildflowers & greenery.  Altogether, the details were visually captivating. But none as much as Katie’s glam bridal look, which featured the most stunning gown. Her bridesmaids were so full of emotion when they saw Katie get into her dress for the first time. This will be a moment that is remembered forever.

They shared a first touch where they shared vows & it was full of laughs & tears. One of the sweetest moments I have ever seen. Thief reception was so much fun & Grant’s brother had the BEST best man speech I have ever heard. Grant’s brother was not able to attend the wedding because he lives in London, and due to Covid was not able to travel. That being said, Grant made the most of it & you will see a cutout of him throughout the day! Grant & Katie’s love is so evident & it was such an incredible wedding to be a part of. Their Vesuvius Vineyard wedding is one that I will never forget.
