Im a Nashville based, Carolina raised photographer & entrepreneur who has very big dreams. I love telling your story. I want my photographs to enable you to see far beyond yourself, and allow you to look back and know exactly how your felt in that moment. That guy to the left is my sweet husband & we have two fur babies we love. When i'm not shooting, you can probably find me trying to convince myself it is a good idea to work out, or binge watching netflix.

NASHVILLE CITY PROPOSAL | CURTIS & JORDAN | NASHVILLE, TN

February 6, 2024

Engagement

back

As a photographer, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing and capturing countless moments of love and joy. But few have been so meaningful as Curtis and Jordan’s proposal on the pedestrian bridge in Nashville. This wasn’t just any proposal – it was a culmination of years of love and I am so honor to know them both. You see, Curtis is not just another client to me; he’s family. And Jordan? Well, she’s become like family too over the years. So when Curtis reached out to me about his plans to propose to Jordan during their weekend trip to Nashville, I was overjoyed. This was a moment I knew I had to be a part of.

The weekend was already filled with excitement as they enjoyed the sights and sounds of Nashville. From catching Cody Johnson at the Opry on Thursday to exploring the vibrant city with Curtis’s sister Courtney and her husband John. Friday arrived, and with it came nerves and anticipation. Months of planning and secret conversations with Courtney and Curtis had led to this moment. As they made their way down the pedestrian bridge, the air was thick with excitement.

I snapped away, capturing every precious moment as Curtis and Jordan posed for a few photos together. But then, in a move that caught Jordan completely off guard, Curtis dropped to one knee. The look on Jordan’s face was priceless – a mix of shock, joy, and overwhelming love.

After the tears and laughter subsided, we continued with an little engagement photoshoot. Little did Jordan know, a surprise awaited her at the other end of the bridge. Both her family and Curtis’s family had traveled all the way from North Carolina to celebrate this special moment with them.

The joy on Jordan’s face when she saw her loved ones waiting for her was indescribable. It was a moment of pure happiness, surrounded by the people who mean the most to them. The rest of the weekend was a blur of celebration and love. From exploring Nashville’s famous landmarks to sharing stories and making memories with family, it was a weekend neither Curtis nor Jordan will ever forget. As I reflect on this unforgettable experience, I can’t help but feel grateful to have been a part of it. Curtis and Jordan hold such a special place in my heart, and I know their love story is just beginning. Here’s to a lifetime of happiness, laughter, and endless love for this incredible couple. Cheers to Curtis and Jordan!
