In just a few short weeks the Shelley family will be welcoming their 2nd baby boy into the world. I cant wait to know his name!! Everyone has their own story with finding out gender & naming their baby. The Shelleys have found out the gender of both boys, but have not shared their names until they are born & I love that. While we have called their little ones Harold (Cooper) and now Gerald as a code name until they were born, It has always been such a surprise once they welcome their new additions. I love the reveal when the baby is born & cannot wait to meet this little guy.

This Winter Lakefront Maternity session turned out so great. I have to say this may be my favorite session we have done so far with the Shelleys. We recently did an In Home 1 year old session with Cooper & it was so much fun. But getting all dressed up & documenting this season was perfect. I am incredibly honored to get to photograph this family as they grow & so excited to share this session with you.

I met Josh & Sarah at Long Hunter State Park, which is by far my favorite place to shoot this year. I tried to deny it but, it is stunning & a little different side of Nashville. It was a little overcast for their session, but the photographs could not have turned out better. Winter is always beautiful & is one of the only times you get the exposed rocks at Long Hunter State Park. It was definitely chilly but made this winter lakefront maternity session so pretty.
