John & Courtney got married on a beautiful April day at Mt Zion Church in Cornelius, North Carolina. I have been looking forward to this wedding day for a long time. I not going to lie, I didn’t know when this day would finally come. John & Courtney have been together for a while. I honestly cant remember life with Courtney before John. But I am so proud of these two & where they are in life together & could not be happier for them. It was such an honor photographing you.
Then their big day arrived and it was surreal to walk into the doors of Courtneys childhood home and see Courtney as a bride. The day was a beautiful blur. Complete with the the most gorgeous of bridesmaids, the most intricate of details, and the best emotions. The weather was perfect, and made the day that much better!
John & Courtney chose the most beautiful spring color palette with moss & hints of navy & the most incredible florals. This evoked such elegance that looked perfectly intentional yet totally effortless. The organic floral design was one of the highlights of the day, featuring lots of lush greenery. Altogether, the details were visually captivating. But none as much as Courtneys’s glam bridal look, which featured the most stunning gown. Her bridesmaids were so full of emotion when they saw Courtney for the first time. This will be a moment that is remembered forever.
One moment that sticks out to me was the first look Courtney did with her dad & brother. We snuck outside underneath a the gazebo & the emotion on Jody ( her dad) & Curtis’ ( her brother) face when he saw Courtney for the first time was incredible. Their smile lit up their faces & as the bridal party peaked from the window, everyone was filled with such emotion.
