Jake & Olivia got married on an incredible summer day at the Peninsula Club in North Carolina. Olivia & I went to the same high school, but it wasn’t until we first chatted about their wedding, that I knew we were going to be great friends. Their engagement session was so much fun & getting to know them over the past year has been such a joy.

The their big day arrived and it was surreal to walk into the doors of Olivias family home and see her as a bride. The day was a beautiful blur. Complete with the  the most gorgeous of bridesmaids, the most intricate of details, and the best emotions.

Carolina fans at heart, Jake & Olivia had to stay on brand but chose the most beautiful color palette with the perfect blue dresses & lots of greenery with the florals with pops of pinks & blues. This evoked such elegance that looked perfectly intentional yet totally effortless. The organic floral design was one of the highlights of the day, featuring lots of lush greenery. Altogether, the details were visually captivating. But none as much as Oliva’s glam bridal look, which featured the most stunning gown. Her bridesmaids were so full of emotion when they saw her for the first time. This will be a moment that is remembered forever.

The best part of their day was when Jake saw for the first time. It was one of the sweetest moments watching Jake be blow away with how gorgeous Olivia looked. We even got some thunder for emphasis doing their ceremony & although it rained, Jake & Olivia danced in the rain & were such troopers. Their reception was beautiful, with the most stunning table settings. Lots of Dancing & of course a couple Carolina songs!
