There’s something magical about photographing a family through different stages of their journey, and my recent session with Hunter, Kimberly, and their almost 1-year-old Carter was no exception. The setting? The iconic Percy Warner stairs in Nashville—a perfect backdrop that offered both elegance and natural beauty.
We managed to beat the rain by just an hour, and the timing couldn’t have been better. The sky was overcast, casting a soft, diffused light that made for some truly beautiful and intimate shots. Watching Carter’s wide-eyed curiosity as he explored the stairs and surrounding greenery was a delight. His little giggles and inquisitive expressions brought such joy to the session.
