I have been so excited for this Freedom Park engagement photoshoot. When I get the chance to photograph a couple from their proposal, it is so so special. Matt & Chelsey are just that! I loved photographing their surprise proposal pictures on Topsail Beach , which you can see here! Matt did an amazing job putting together a sweet surprise for his fiancé! He coordinated to propose on the beach where their families spend a lot of time, which made it extra special! Following a photoshoot with the Dodson Family. With all of their family watching from a distance, Matt & Chelsey walked down the beach & then Matt got down on one knee & ask Chelsey to spend forever with him. It was incredible & so exciting!

Matt & Chelsey are a dating app success story. They met on Hinge & connected immediately on their love for football. They would disagree on which team is better the Cowboys or Steelers. But the rivalry is what started it all for these two. Matt took Chelsey on their first date to Essex in Charlotte & the rest is history!!

I asked them both what they are looking forward to the most about marriage. Matt said he is looking looking forward to buying a house together and doing some traveling before they start a family. Chelsey was excited about all the next experiences they will share together with Matt, having someone that supports you unconditionally & watching the Steelers & Cowboys play (which will be a wildddd time in their house).
