Adam & Alix got married on a rainy October day at CJ’s Off The Square in Franklin, Tennessee. I met Alix for coffee at Frothy Monkey what seems like an eternity ago & I knew that day Adam & Alix wedding was going to be so unique & so fun. I was blown away at their engagement session by not only how funny & kind they are, but how evident their love is for each other. The met in high school & have been together ever since. After years together, Adam proposed at home with family there & not they get to have not one, but two weddings! They are all about the journey that life throws at them & that is one of the things I knew was going to make a perfect fit when photographing their love story & wedding.
Due to the pandemic, they had a small intimate wedding with just family & are so excited to celebrate on their 1 Year anniversary with their big celebration next year. Adam & Alix chose the most beautiful fall color palette with rich Burgundy & pops of white in the florals. This evoked such elegance that looked perfectly intentional yet totally effortless. The organic floral design was one of the highlights of the day, featuring lots of lush greenery.
They shared a small ceremony in the gardens, followed by photographing the two of them through the town of Franklin. We ended with a cup of Starbucks before the couple celebrated with their family the rest of the day. The best part of their day was the moment they read their vows. After the excitement on Adams face when he saw Alix for the first time was incredible, they read vows together & it was full of emotion. Alix smile lit up her face & Adam shed a few happy tears. It was beautiful.

It was such an honor being apart of Adam & Alix’s small intimate wedding day. I cannot wait to celebrate with them again for their full wedding next year.
