Adam & Alix had their Spring engagement session at Long Hunter State Park in Nashville, Tennessee. Long Hunter is always one of my favorite locations. The park has great rural backdrops, like the long golden grass and the lake. There are also some lovely exposed rocks when the water is low enough. During their session we explored so much of the park. Some of my favorite pictures from this engagement session are of Adam & Alix in the tall grass with their fur babies!
Adam & Alix are one of my 2020 couples that unfortunately has to postpone their big celebration due to COVID, but they have been the absolute best sports about it. We may be waiting a little longer than planned to celebrate, but it is going to be an absolute blast next year. Adam & Alix will be getting married next October at CJ’s Off the Square, and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding.
This is a simple boat launch & I love the vertical lines that it makes in images. Adam & Alix did a great job choosing outfits for their session as well. His pop of green makes this portion of their engagement session really bold a stunning. 
Dogs? Yes! Bring them. I love when couples bring their dogs to their sessions. It is also a great idea to bring a family member or friend with you.
