There’s something so special about capturing the first moments of a newborn’s life in the comfort of their home. Kaden and Kinsley welcomed me into their beautiful space in Murfreesboro, TN, to document this sweet season with their newest little love. Their neutral and blue-toned nursery, soft textures, and meaningful details made the perfect backdrop for this heartfelt session.

One of my favorite moments was seeing their pup interact with his tiny new sibling—it was the sweetest bond to witness! He was already so gentle and protective, staying close and curiously watching over his newest family member. I love incorporating pets into newborn sessions because they’re such an important part of the family dynamic.

Kaden and Kinsley’s love for their little one radiated through every image. The way they looked at their baby, held him close, and soaked in every tiny detail was simply beautiful. The nursery’s soft blue accent wall, framed watercolor animal prints, and cozy textures created such a warm and peaceful setting—ideal for these first family portraits.
