This Nashville Skyline engagement session has been one I have been waiting a long time for, but defiantly not as long as Angus & Shelby. When you meet someone in Middle School, you would never think 16 years later you would be planning a wedding! Angus & Shelby met in the Maryville High School gym & have known each other for overhalf their lives. After a little off & on going through all the seasons of life throughout Middle, High School & College Angus took Shelby to the Titans game in Nashville & the rest is history. Shelby may have been too cool for him in school, but Angus always knew she was the one.
Right before Christmas, Angus took Shelby to Chivo in Knoxville. They walked around to see all of the Christmas lights. They ended their walk in front of the Christmas tree where they took a picture together when they first started dating. Little did Shelby know, the picture they would take that night would ended in Angus asking Shelby to be his wife! I love their story together & how they have grown over the past couple years.
I met Shelby & at the time her only love Braxton when we moved to Nashville. We have become such great friends & I am so excited to not only get to watch her marry her best friend, but photograph them as well.
We started their Engagement session under the Nashville Pedestrian Bridge. Due to the rain in the forecast. Angus & Shelby brought their two fur babies along & we all know I LOVE a good family photo with your fur best friends! We had so much fun during their shoot. And ended with popping a little champagne on the bridge with the Nashville Skyline in the background. Although we didn’t get much sun, it was so pretty & we laughed a ton during their session. Love these two & cannot wait for their big day!
It was such an honor to photograph Angus & Shelby. But I am SO excited for their Mountain top wedding this summer! If you want to see another Nashville Engagement session you can do so here!
Beautiful!
