Joey & Raven had the most beautiful Rolling Hill Farms wedding, on the prettiest October day in Monroe, North Carolina. Joey & Raven met in high school but didn’t realize until later that they didn’t want to do life without each other. Joey & Raven used to go to Megart (the best pottery place) & make tiles for all the places they visited together. LOVE THIS! Joey took all of those tiles & hung them up along a path at Latta Plantation. At the end of the path Joey left a blank tile & when Raven went to pick it up she turned around & Joey was on one knee. They spent their first year of being engaged deployed serving our country together & are back now starting to celebrate their love story. Joey & Raven are both so smiley when they are around each other. They love adventures & are so excited to start their lives together. I have known Joey most of my life, but Raven is truly the best complement to him. Their love is so contagious & it was so much fun photographing them.
Their big day arrived and it was surreal to walk into the doors of Rolling Hill Farms and see Raven as a bride. The day was a beautiful blur. Complete with the the most gorgeous of bridesmaids, the most intricate of details, and the best emotions. The weather was perfect & even a little warm for an October day!
Joey & Raven chose the most beautiful fall color palette with rich Burgundy & pops of pink in the florals. This evoked such elegance that looked perfectly intentional yet totally effortless. The organic floral design was one of the highlights of the day, featuring lots of lush greenery. Altogether, the details were visually captivating. But none as much as Ravens’s stunning dress, made by her grandmother!
The best part of their day was Joey seeing Raven for the first time walking down the aisle. Watching his face light up as the doors open was perfect in everyday. Their ceremony was followed by the most fun reception full of dancing an all the laughter. This Rolling Hill Farms wedding was such an honor to be a part of!
