Some mornings are absolutely worth waking up early for, and Chase & Khaki’s sunrise engagement session in Downtown Franklin will forever be one of my favorites. And now… they’re getting married this weekend 🥹 It feels extra special to look back on these moments knowing their wedding day is finally here.
We met just as the sun was breaking over the horizon, painting the sky with soft pinks and warm golden tones. The quiet streets and peaceful stillness made it feel like the entire town had pressed pause just for them. There’s something so magical about Franklin in the early morning hours — the historic storefronts, charming brick alleys, and iconic spots like the Franklin Theatre created the dreamiest backdrop for their love story.
Chase and Khaki were absolute naturals in front of the camera, laughing between poses, holding hands, and soaking in that calm, just-us-two feeling before the city woke up. Afterward, we wandered over to The Factory at Franklin, where the empty walkways and industrial charm gave them even more space to just be together. No crowds, no rush — just two best friends in love.
As high school sweethearts, their connection runs deep. You can feel it in the way they look at each other, the way they laugh, and the way they naturally fall into step together. These two have grown up side by side, and now they’re stepping into forever hand in hand.
If this sunrise session was any indication, their wedding day is going to be full of joy, emotion, and the sweetest moments. Khaki & Chase, I am counting down the hours until I get to photograph you officially becoming husband and wife. What an honor it has been to document this season of your story 🤍✨
