Parker & Wallis got married on an August day at The Mill at Rock Creek in Boone, North Carolina. Wallis & I have been friends since high school & I was so excited to meet Parker for their engagement session. I heard such great things about him, but it wasn’t until we met that I was blown away by not only how funny & kind he is, but how evident his love for Wallis is. Parker & Wallis met at a Rangers game in Texas where they currently live. They go to Maine every year during the summer with her family. This past year on their trip Parker & Wallis walked a little footpath that hugs the coastline called the Marginal Way. They stopped at a bench that overlooks the water to watch the Lobster boats come in for the day & Parker got down on one knee & popped the question. They are so excited to see what adventures life will bring as they start their marriage together, start a family together & continue their life together.
The their big day arrived and it was surreal to walk into the doors of the venue for their Mill at Rock Creek Wedding and see Wallis as a bride. The day was a beautiful blur. Complete with the the most gorgeous of bridesmaids, the most intricate of details, and the best emotions. The weather called for rain the entire day, but it held out & made for the absoulute perfect day.
Parker & Wallis chose the most beautiful color palette with the perfect Dusty blue dresses & lots of greenery with the florals. This evoked such elegance that looked perfectly intentional yet totally effortless. The organic floral design was one of the highlights of the day, featuring lots of lush greenery. Altogether, the details were visually captivating. But none as much as Wallis’s glam bridal look, which featured the most stunning gown. Her bridesmaids were so full of emotion when they saw Wallis for the first time. This will be a moment that is remembered forever.
The best part of their day was when Wallis walked down the aisle. Parker & Wallis did a first look which was incredible, but the moment she walked through the doors & to the garden, Parker was filled with emotion. It was one of the sweetest moments & one myself & the guest will never forget.
Their reception was beautiful, with table settings & centerpiece collected by Wallis over the time leading up to the wedding & was so pretty. They had a great live band, a late night snack of Chickfila (Wallis favorite), FIREWORKS & the most iconic exit with Light Sabers to show off Parker love of Star Wars. It was such a great day!
