It’s hard to put into words how meaningful it was to get the chance to photograph Jonathan & Tamara to celebrate their love for each other. Like many couples, due to the pandemic their original plans for their wedding have changed & the two of them decided to get married before their original wedding date. They are so thoughtful in caring for those around them to make sure they are safe during this time. We often get wrapped up in the wedding planning & forget that at the end of the day, your love is all that matters & getting married is the ultimate way to express that love. Jonathan & Tamara are such a great representation of this love. To celebrate & document this season, we decided to do an elopement session, get all dressed up & photographed to two of them!

I met Jonathan & Tamara early in the morning for a sunrise shoot at The Point in Mooresville, North Carolina. We started down by the lake & made our way through the park. It felt like we got all of the seasons while photographing them. It was pretty chilly, but we had Fall, Spring & Summer colors. I loved it! Elopement sessions are so special, it is such a time to focus on the two of you & get away from all of the glitz & glam. Although, I love a big wedding. I encourage everyone when planning a wedding to really do what is best for you as a couple. Eloping & doing a photoshoot to celebrate is such a fun way to document your marriage. It also gives you so much flexibility for you session.

Jonathan & Tamara are so laid back & Jonathan is so goofy. He makes Tamara laugh & her smile lights up the room. Their session was the best time. There is this playfulness to them that is so evident in their session. Johnathan & Tamara met at the gym & just couldn’t stay away from each other. Their first date was at the Pit & then went to dinner in Charlotte. I mean how fitting?? Go Kart & Arcade games. So much fun! Jonathan proposed on a little trial with their fur baby & the rest is history! Now they are married & I cannot wait to see how they grow together over the years!
