I have been looking forward to this Lakefront Engagement photos for quite sometime, and boyyy it did not disappoint. I met Brian & Sara at Long Hunter State park on a sunny Saturday evening. We started in high grass back on a trail & ended their session by the lake watching the sunset for the dreamiest golden hour. I got the opportunity to photograph Brian & Sara’s proposal in October & ever since have been so excited about what their engagement session would look like!!

If you didn’t, you will know Brain is one of our great friends from college & it has been so wonderful watching him fall in love with Sara, and get to become friends as well! Like most people these days, Brian & Sara met on a dating app! While Sara was a little skeptical of online dating, Brian won her over with some jokes about our giants/jets rivalry. The met for the first time at Green’s Lunch. It is a small restaurant in Charlotte Sara loves & knows the owners, so seemed like a good place to meet someone for the first time! 

Their  first “official” date was dinner and drinks at Whiskey Warehouse in Plaza Midwood. They had a fun night, but in Sara’s words “all I got was a hug from Brian at the end (lol)!”  The best date was the one that followed, bar hopping around Charlotte. That was the night they finally shared their first kiss and found their favorite bar, Hooligans.  Now they are most looking forward to all the “firsts” they will get to experience together. First anniversary, first house they buy together, first kid, first family vacation, etc.
