Davis & Natalie got married on Labor Day weekend at The Twickenham House in the mountains of North Carolina. Now to tell you a little bit about Davis & Natalie. I have known Davis for a really long time, we grew up going to school together & love the town of Boone & Appalachian State & now live in the same city of Nashville together. He is such a great friend to everyone around him. Then there is Natalie. I didn’t know too much about Natalie until wedding planning began, but she is such a rockstar! She is so much fun to be around & everything I could ever imagine for Davis.
Their first date Davis wanted to surprise Natalie by taking her to a Taz concert at Basement East. After stopping to get a couple drinks before the concert, they lost track of time talking & ended up missing the entire show. I would say it was very evident they were going to get along. They ended up at Old Glory, spending way too much on overpriced drinks not wanting the night to end. In the end it was so worth it, they shared their first kiss there & Natalie new by the end of the first night she was going to marry Davis.
Then their big day arrived and it was surreal to walk into the doors of Twickenham and be met by all of Davis’ groomsmen. Who in fact I knew every single one of them. It is not often that I know everyone in a party but this made for such a bittersweet incredible day. Then later in the day seeing Natalie as a bride was breathtaking. The day was a beautiful blur. Complete with the the most gorgeous of bridesmaids, the most intricate of details, and the best emotions.
Davis & Natalie chose the classic Black & White color palette & lots of greenery with the florals. This evoked such elegance that looked perfectly intentional yet totally effortless. The organic floral design was one of the highlights of the day, featuring lots of lush greenery. Altogether, the details were visually captivating. But none as much as Natalies glam bridal look, which featured the most stunning gown. Her bridesmaids were so full of emotion when they saw Natalie for the first time. This will be a moment that is remembered forever.
The best part of their day was when Natalie walked down the aisle. Davis & Natalie planned to do a first look but then decided to wait. Which made the moment Davis saw Natalie so sweet. Their reception was beautiful full of emotion from family & such a dance party with their live band! They had the chance where guest could walk up to the overlook & that was great. Then Davis & Natalie shot a couple clays over the mountain which was so them & such a fun moment!
