Brandon & Katy got married on the perfect October Day at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I met Brandon & Katy through mutual friends & we hit it off right away. As soon as they got engaged we started talk about their story. Katy lived in Chicago & met Brandon while he was visiting his sister. They went to an Irish Pub for their first date & had so much fun they spent the next couple nights hanging out until sadly Brandon had to leave. Brandon flew back home to Virginia but shortly after convinced Katy to visit for the Virginia Tech vs. Clemson game. Having the entire weekend planned out, Brandon created a great weekend for Katy & even meeting the family! After that, the rest is history. They dated long distance for a year & then finally made the move to Nashville together.
Brandon is so thoughtful & this past May planned a trip to Hilton Head for the two of them. Little did Katy know, their families & best friends where waiting as Brandon proposed on their sunset dock that walks over the marsh in Hilton Head. Hilton Head is a place they have spent so much time together & the perfect spot for Brandon to ask for Katy to marry him. So stinking cute!!!
The their big day arrived and it was surreal to walk into the doors of her family home and see Katy as a bride. The day was a beautiful blur. Complete with the the most gorgeous of bridesmaids, the most intricate of details, and the best emotions. The weather called for rain the entire day, but it held out & made for the absoulute perfect day. Katy’s parent have the most stunning home on Signal Mountain, where we were able to to all of their pre ceremony photos!
Brandon & Katy chose the most beautiful color palette with the perfect teal dresses & lots of greenery with the florals with pops of pinks & oranges. This evoked such elegance that looked perfectly intentional yet totally effortless. The organic floral design was one of the highlights of the day, featuring lots of lush greenery. Altogether, the details were visually captivating. But none as much as Katy’s glam bridal look, which featured the most stunning gown. Her bridesmaids were so full of emotion when they saw Katy for the first time. This will be a moment that is remembered forever.
The best part of their day was when Brandon saw Katy for the first time. It was one of the sweetest moments watching Brandon be blow away with how gorgeous Katy looked. Their reception was beautiful, with the most stunning table settings. We made our way to the Westin & it was so fun to walk around downtown Chattanooga to celebrate these two. They had a great live band, and a dance party for the books.
