Im a Nashville based, Carolina raised photographer & entrepreneur who has very big dreams. I love telling your story. I want my photographs to enable you to see far beyond yourself, and allow you to look back and know exactly how your felt in that moment. That guy to the left is my sweet husband & we have two fur babies we love. When i'm not shooting, you can probably find me trying to convince myself it is a good idea to work out, or binge watching netflix.

I have been looking forward to this engagement session for more years than I can even count. I have known Riley since high school and we survived the most awkward phase of life as friends. She is such a gem and I knew one day she would end up with a guy like Wes! They are so perfect together and although I have been watching from a far since we live in different states now. I knew the day would come when Wes would ask Rylie to marry him! I cannot be more excited and this engagement photo shoot was one for the books. I’ve done a couple shoots up at the point in Mooresville and they do not disappoint. This was the perfect November day with a little bit of fall foliage still out!

Wes & Riley met through her roommate. She worked with Wes, and he had approached her about a picture of us he’d seen and said he wanted to meet Riley. I love this.  Their first official “meeting” was in a Snapchat while he was in Europe where they sang Backstreet Boys to each other. When he got back home, they went out to a pizza bar in Raleigh and grabbed dinner and drinks and the rest was history!! After years of dating. Riley was out of town for the weekend & walked back in on Sunday afternoon the whole house was decorated with rose petals and candles and of course with bandanas on their dogs that said “will you marry our dad?” He was dressed in a full suit and as soon as he saw Riley he got down on one knee!

I ask Wes & Riley what they are looking forward to about marriage & they said “We are looking forward to a lifetime of happiness and laughing together and all the new stepping stones that will come with it. And babies!!!!” Gotta love it! I cannot wait to watch their family grow!

I love this Point engagement photoshoot so so much! If you want to see another recent engagement session you can check out Jordan & Jakes here! Also, check out another wedding here!
