Freedom Park is a hidden gem in the city of Charlotte, North Carolina & perfect for a family session. There are so many great locations in the Charlotte area. Every time I am in North Carolina for photo sessions I forget about Freedom Park, but I am so glad we landed on this location for the Putnams session.
Micheal & Sara got married 3 years ago on September 24th & the day we did their session! They got married at Vesuvius Vineyard in Iron Station, NC. Their wedding day was one for the books, Sara was the most stunning bride, Michael & his groomsmen were the life of the party & I will never forget how funny & personal their vows were. And of course, they made everyone cry!
This year for their anniversary we met at the entrance of Freedom Park with the sweetest addition to their family Mason. Gosh.. is he cute. It was the most beautiful 75 degree day in Charlotte. We walked around the park & ended with a few photos of Mom & Dad to celebrate their anniversary. Michaels parts also came to help get the sweetest smiles out of Mason. What a great idea to bring them along & get the best smiles from sweet Mason. It has been such a pleasure photographing Michael, Sara & their growing family over the past couple years. Mason is the sweetest little boy & I cannot wait to watch him grow up over the years!

Katti’s dad went to meet Jesus shortly after Blythe was born. Katti cut a dress out of one of her dads shirts for us to photograph Blythe in & it could not have turned out better. He is wearing that shirt in the photograph of him holding Blythe when she was first born. Wow! These are the moments that leave me speechless.
